Founded in 2005, Bittoni Architects is a full-service architectural practice predicated on the notion that architecture is both an artistic and social endeavor that has the potential to enhance the way we experience the world around us. Our work is idea driven, with a strong emphasis on research and analysis. It is our belief that, with a thorough investigation of context and culture, we can create meaningful solutions that give way to new forms of expression and interaction that are unique to each of our projects. Our body of work ranges in building type and scale, from interiors to master planning. Our methodology is defined by our explorative approach and a curiosity for the unconventional. We work in collaboration with people and organizations to design their futures.

Our Process

Our design philosophy is rooted in how our work is to be experienced in the built environment. Beginning with how the architecture responds to its surroundings; sensitivity to site and context is critical to the development of the design. We factor in building code, budget, and constructibility early in the design phase which allows us to foresee potential conflict and facilitate the permitting process. With the efficiency of BIM and the implementation of VR, we are able to quickly study massing, scale, and materiality and curate how they are to be experienced from within. Navigating through the set of parameters and constraints that is unique to each client, site, and program has yielded a diverse portfolio of work. It is our intent to mine the design potential in every problem presented to us. Our practice is constantly evolving and innovating how our buildings are expressed by exploring new means of construction, fabrication, and materials.
